Bobcat Day is a Cub Scout event that gives new Cub Scouts an introduction to Scouting and potential Cub Scouts an opportunity to join. Youth who join Cub Scouts will receive a rocket patch for joining and they will also receive a rocket that they can design, build, and launch at Scout Blast. All new Cub Scouts in the district, along with their families are invited to Scout Blast to launch rockets given to them for joining.
Additional activities typically include games (e.g., field hockey, putt putt golf), crafts (e.g., build a bird house, marshmallow shooters - while supplies last), and more.
Cub Scouts can in 1st - 5th grades can also earn the Bobcat badge and participate in archery and BB guns.
